However, I managed to find two models, all made from stainless steel, except for the lid on one of them, which I’m not concerned about because it doesn’t come into direct contact with the food.

Capacity: 1.5 quarts

I know this one is a splurge, but it’s definitely worth the investment!

It got 4.6/5 stars for about 1,000 ratings on Amazon! 

It’s the best one I could find that delivers professional results at home without using a plastic mixing bowl and plastic paddles.  

This compact, fully automatic frozen dessert maker will allow you to make everything from ice cream and sorbet to frozen yogurt and Italian gelato to frozen drinks. 

It’s very easy to use as, unlike the more inexpensive machines, this one doesn’t require you to freeze the bowl for hours before making a batch of ice cream (it doesn’t require pre-cooling at all). 

You simply need to pour the ingredients into the mixing bowl, set the timer, and press two buttons.

30 minutes later, you’ll have 1.5 quarts of ice cream ready to savor!

(Or at least from what I could find.)

However, this one is for making rolled ice cream, so if you prefer that type of ice cream, it should be your go-to option!

Very easy to use, you just need to pour the ingredients and use the two included spatulas to chop, mix, and roll.

It also features a steady base with four stabilizing suction legs and has a sleek, compact design. 

To clean it, you’ll just have to wipe the surface with a damp cloth, and that’s it!

The first four options I mentioned above are the ones I recommend the most.

However, if you couldn’t find an ice cream maker that you liked among them, here are two other automatic machines you might want to check out. 

These are not perfect because they both feature plastic paddles.

But at least, the paddles are BPA-free and all the other components that come into direct contact with the food are made of stainless steel.
