13 ORGANIC SHEETS FOR SWEET, SUSTAINABLE DREAMS

Make your sleeping experience as healthy and sustainable as possible with these 13 organic sheets!

Nowadays, most sheets we can buy are either made from conventional cotton or synthetic materials like polyester.

They’re also colored with toxic dyes and aren’t designed with quality in mind.

Yet, given the fact that we (hopefully) spend a third of our time sleeping in our beds, we deserve better.

We deserve good quality sheets produced with materials that are better for us and the environment

Thankfully, there are many options available to us that tick those boxes, one of them being organic sheets.

In this blog post, I’ve rounded up 13 organic sheets sold by sustainable bedding brands so you can sleep without harming your health or that of the planet.

Are organic cotton sheets better? What about other organic fabrics?

Organic sheets are made with organic fabrics, whether that’s organic cotton, organic linen, or another type of organic fabric.

No matter which you choose, organic sheets are so much better than regular sheets made from conventional cotton or synthetic materials!

Organic sheets are produced without harmful chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides, or GMOs.

They also do not contain substances like formaldehyde or harsh chemical dyes.

Overall, they’re much healthier to sleep in as we aren’t exposed to toxins, dangerous substances, and other hazardous chemicals.

They’re also a lot better for the environment.

Since they’re produced without pesticides and they’re made using sustainable practices, they don’t contribute to pollution and climate change as much.

Organic farming doesn’t deplete our soils of essential nutrients and benefits biodiversity.

Not to mention that organic farming doesn’t threaten the farmers’ health as they aren’t exposed to toxic chemicals.

Organic sheets are also often of better quality, so while they’re sometimes more expensive to buy, they usually last longer

In this post, you'll find 13 organic sheets so you can sleep healthily and sustainably.

What to look for when buying organic sheets?

If you’re looking for organic sheets, there are several fabrics you can choose from.

One of the most common ones is organic cotton.

But you can also find great ones made from organic linen, organic bamboo, organic hemp, or any other type of organic fabric.

Ideally, opt for sheets that are certified by GOTS to ensure that they are truly organic.

The GOTS certification guarantees the product is made from organic materials using sustainable practices throughout its supply chain and by workers who are treated and paid fairly.

You can also buy organic sheets that carry the OEKO-TEX or MADE SAFE certifications to ensure they’re completely free of harmful chemicals.

Another thing to keep in mind when shopping for organic sheets is to try and purchase quality bedding that is made to last.

Also, choose bedding that is colored with low-impact, non-toxic dyes (or undyed).

Besides being made with the environment and our health in mind, it should also be produced ethically and transparently.
